Death - 16 (12+1+3)
Blood - 12 (9+3)
SR - 10 (9+1)

Blood of the Master
Verata's Sacrifice
Taste of Death
Animate Bone Horror
Animate Bone Fiend
Death Nova or whatever you like
Offering of Blood {E}
Resurrection Signet

Keep animating all the time you possibly can. Keep Verata's Sacrifice up all the time you can. Use Blood of the Master to heal your minions. Taste of Death is your self heal. Offering of Blood is for energy when things do not die fast enough for soul reaping to cover your energy need.

Have Fun

Default Minion Bomber

Death Magic: 16
Soul reaping: 13

Animate Bone Minions,
Death Nova,
Taste of Death,
Deathly Swarm (replacable),
Vile Touch (replacable),
[E] Grenth's Balance (replacable),
(Free Slot - I picked mantra of Concentration with all the interrupt rangers around)
Resurrection Signet,

Make sure you have the fast casting on corpses boots.

Essentially create minions, then put death nova on them and then blow them up with taste of death when they are next to an enemy or a group of enemies.

In a larger team replace vile touch with a minion healing skill.

Minion spamming abuse was tried in pvp..... and was a brief Flavour..... was it ever tried in pve? They lack the tactics there to sensibly counter it, surely you coul just stand and spam minions and overrun the entire level?

Of course it works in pve, I guess you haven't seen the necros going crazy in the jungle. Also in most SF/GF parties there will be a minion master or the like for corpse denial, if nothing else. Armies of 20 minions are completely feasable.

I don't give away builds unless you give me something first.

I'm running a N/E "Disciple of Grenth" Minion user. He has 2 modes, one for pvp and one for pve.

First tell me...

What's your X in N/X?
What mode of play are you interested in? PvP or PvE?
What do you want your second class (X) to do?
And

What's your role as a minion master? [summoning minions is only the tip of the iceberg]

I don't know what the N/X , X is, but I saw once in Tombs , Tons of minions keep poping up everywhere ..... Anybody know how the person did that?

actually, i dont pretend to know alot about minions and their rate of degen, but from what i heard from other people is that they steadily gain degen. meaning it becomes harder and harder to heal them as time goes on. so in essence there is a limit on how many you can make.. i think.

the other problem is that pve really isnt the best place to make minions. you can expect to fight against a long procession of baddies, and although there is no doubt the minions will roll right over the first few, i think there are simply more monsters in the map than possible minions. and once they do you have 2 people with nothing but res skills, two people at 60 dp and 2 people that, if they die, screw you over even more.

all in all... not the greatest idea.

Minion masters are the best in pve. apart from the fire island levels where there aren't as many corpses you can easily solo the entire game with just minions.
you trying to say they are better in pvp where they are less potential corpses and less likely for the bodies to become corpses?

degen caps out at -10, which is what verata's sacrifice caps out at. you can cap VS in kessex peak in the same area as where galrath is as long as no one has the galrath quest.

A huge bunch fo level 18 bone fiends is nothing to sneeze at and as long as you keep up VS and blood of the master you can mow through most things.

actually i was commenting that a minion making build (like one with 2 sacrificers) wasnt the greatest in pve. and actually good point, it is sort of redundant since there are so many corpses lying around in pve

This is untrue. Unlike players, minions can have more that -10. If you test it, have some minions and keep using Vereta's Sacrifice on them. Eventually they will stop gaining health soon will actually start losing health even with Sacrifice on. They seem to gain an extra -1 every minute or 30 seconds.

Its the net effect that caps at -10. If you were to not use veratas sacrifice and could keep them alive with heal area/blood of the master even at -10 degen then you could keep them alive inifinitely.
